Assertive Outreach Teams
Julian Housing Support Trust Limited (Norfolk)
Commenced in March 1998, as one day every 6 months with the Active Outreach Team, focusing attention on specific aspects of team functioning. Extended from November 2002 to include team-building and support for the ‘management team’.
Assertive Outreach Team (North) - Northants
Commenced January 2001, supporting the development of the established pilot project for the county in Kettering. Extended in July 2001 to the newly emerging development in Wellingborough, and in May 2003 to remaining areas of the north of the county: Corby and E. Northants.
Haringey (HOST) Assertive Outreach Teams
Commenced in July 2003 with a 3-day training programme. Practice Development commenced at 1-day/month from January 2004.
Continuing as bi-monthly contact supporting the implementation of the Team Development Plan across 2006
Cambridge Assertive Outreach Team
Commenced in September 2004 with a 3-day training programme, Practice development support commencing 1 day/month from January 2005. Input to this project ceased after December 2005.
West Suffolk & Thetford Assertive Outreach Team
Commenced in January 2005 with a 3-day training programme. Practice development support commencing 1 day/month from April 2005. Continuing as bi-monthly contact from February 2006.
East Suffolk Assertive Outreach Team
A 3 day training programme was delivered in May 2005, with a programme of monthly practice development commencing in January 2006.
Ipswich Outreach Team
Initially set up in 1999 with Steve Morgan facilitating a detailed training programme through his former position in the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health. A Practice Based Evidence bi-monthly practice development programme commenced in February 2006.
North Birmingham Locality Assertive Outreach Team
This is a well established assertive outreach team since 1998. A programme commenced with 2 days of training in March & April 2006, followed by monthly 'practice development' input from April 2006-March 2007.
Central Manchester Assertive Outreach Service
